In term 2, we were required to learn about equation writing, sexual reproduction. For equation writing, we were required to state the symbols of the elements and formulae of compounds, which in other words write out the equation, which is interpreting, constructing and balancing out the equation to form an equation. For sexual reproduction, we need to know part of the male reproduction system and their functions (example: penis, testes, sperm ducts, etc.), which includes the product and the use of the product, example: sperm, ovum. We also need to know some of the changes when going through puberty and early adolescence, with the stages of menstruation. We also need to know parts of the female reproduction system and their functions. (Example: vagina, ovaries, uterus, etc.) We also need to know the process of fertilization and the process in early development in fertilization. We also had online learning, which we learnt about sexually transmitted diseases which includes AIDS and HIV. Some of their causes, transmission, symptoms, effects and treatment, in which the causes are mostly by bacteria, transmission by sexual intercourse, symptoms usually pain or itchiness, affects which causes new-born to suffer and treatment through medication. We also learnt some methods in birth control, and their percentage of success and whether they are permanent or temporary. We were also required to do a video about sexually transmitted diseases.
